The Boyfriend Experience was another enjoyable read from Sean Ashcroft. I like how Sean has warm and kind relatable characters in his stories. The Boyfriend Experiment is a contemporary gay romance with a HEA, and it does not contain a cliffhanger. It does, however, contain a trip to space, a cake-batter flavoured protein bar, a very cute, very awkward rocket scientist, a handful of nicknames, two extremely scientific experiments, and love conquering all. The Twelve Dates of Christmas by Andi James, Lila Wilde Walking on Thin Ice (Ice and Snow Christmas #1) by Jocelynn Drake A (Fake) Boyfriend for Christmas by Sean Ashcroft. A (Fake) Boyfriend For Christmas is a steamy novella-length gay romance with a HEA and all the holiday feels. It contains: office party makeouts, tree lopping shenanigans, explicit scenes, a snowball fight, oodles of holiday spirit, and true love conquering all. Sean Ashcroft writes some of the sweetest gay romance novels ever and is especially good with the fake-boyfriends-to-real-boyfriends plot like this novel features. It was well written, and although there were a lot of snobs and downright awful secondary characters in the novel, I thought all of the characters were fully portrayed and felt real.
